Apple Watch models, watchOS version and languages
Tennis Time runs on any Apple Watch with watchOS 11 or later and works without an iPhone nearby. It speaks nine languages. Double Tap scoring needs a watch that supports the Double Tap gesture.
What you need
- An Apple Watch with watchOS 11 or later.
- No iPhone app: Tennis Time is installed and runs on the watch alone.
- Apple Health access (optional) for heart rate, calories and workouts. Scoring works without it.
- iCloud (optional) to keep your matches and players backed up and in sync.
What each hands-free input needs
| Input | Needs |
|---|---|
| Tap the score cards | Any supported Apple Watch |
| Digital Crown, swipe | Any supported Apple Watch |
| Wrist gestures | Any supported Apple Watch (uses the motion sensors) |
| Double Tap | An Apple Watch that supports Double Tap, such as Series 9 or later and Ultra 2 or later |
Hands-free inputs are part of Pro. See Score hands-free.
Languages
The app is in English, Arabic, German, Spanish, French, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese and Portuguese (Brazil), and follows your watch's language. In right-to-left languages the pages and swipes mirror, while the court and the line-up keep their real left and right sides.
