Start a singles or doubles match on Apple Watch
To start a match, tap Match on the Home screen, choose 2 or 4 players on the Players tab, fill every tile, and tap the check. Tennis Time remembers your last line-up, so the next match is usually one tap away.
The Ready screen
Tap Match on Home. The Ready screen opens with three tabs: Players, Serving and Match. Tap a tab's name, or swipe left or right anywhere on the screen to move between them.
Along the bottom: the back button on the left, the check on the right. The check starts the match and lights up as soon as every tile has a player.
Start a doubles match
- On Home, tap Match.
- On the Players tab, use the arrows at the bottom until it reads 4 Players.
- Your team is the top row, in yellow. The other team is the bottom row, in white. Tap an empty tile to choose a player for it. See Add and manage players.
- Optional: swipe to Serving to choose who serves first, and to Match to choose the format.
- Tap the check. The match opens on the score.

Start a singles match
- On Home, tap Match.
- On the Players tab, use the arrows until it reads 2 Players.
- Tap the white tile and choose your opponent.
- Tap the check.

Note: Singles is part of Pro. In the free version you play doubles, with the players named P2, P3 and P4.
Move or swap players in the line-up
- Touch and hold a player's tile until the watch taps and the title changes to Move to....
- Tap another tile. The two players swap places, even into an empty tile.
- To put a player back without moving, tap the lifted tile again or tap the back button.

Once the first point of a match is played, the line-up is fixed. You can still swap a player for another one from the match settings.
If the check stays dimmed
- A tile is still empty: fill it on the Players tab.
- The same person is on both teams: the screen says who. Move one of them.
- In the free version with 2 or 3 players chosen: those need Pro. Go back to 4 Players.
