Choose who serves first and who receives
On the Serving tab of the Ready screen, tap 1ST to choose who serves the first game. In doubles, 2ND sets who serves first for the other pair and RCV sets who receives in the deuce court. The dice picks all of it at random.
Set the first server
- On the Ready screen, swipe to the Serving tab.
- Tap the 1ST row.
- On Serving First, tap the player who serves the first game.

Doubles: the serving order and the receivers
- 1ST
- The player who serves the first game of the match.
- 2ND
- Who serves first for the other pair, in the second game.
- RCV
- For each pair, the player who receives first. That player takes the deuce court, the right side, and the partner takes the advantage court.
A row that reads Not set can stay that way: the watch asks during the match if it needs to know. See Court view and serving questions.
Let the dice decide
Tap the dice between the back button and the check. It picks the side that serves first, the first server of each pair and the first receiver of each pair. The watch rattles and the rows update. Nothing is locked in: you can still change any row.
Change it during a match
Touch and hold either score card, or tap the gear and then Serving. The serving order can be corrected until the match is over, and every serve is worked out again from the start. Receivers can be changed at any time.
