Score with wrist gestures
With wrist gestures you score without touching the watch: two hard flicks down for your point, two up for theirs, two wrist rolls to undo. Start every gesture from a still wrist, so the watch never mistakes a swing for a point.
The five gestures
| Gesture | How to make it | Set to |
|---|---|---|
| Two snaps down | Flick down hard, twice. | My point |
| Two snaps up | Flick up hard, twice. | Their point |
| Thumb up, twice | Thumb up, lift it from the hip to the shoulder, twice. | Off |
| Come here, twice | Palm up, curl the fingers towards you, twice. | Off |
| Two wrist rolls | Roll the wrist round, twice. | Undo |
The last column is how they come set up. Each action can have one gesture.
Make a gesture the watch recognises
- Hold your wrist still for about a second.
- Make the gesture, firmly, twice.
- Feel the tap on your wrist that confirms the point.
A gesture straight out of a swing or a walk is ignored on purpose: that is what stops play itself from scoring points. After a gesture the watch waits a moment before it listens again.
Tip: Wear the crown on the left? The watch mirrors the gestures for you, so down is still down. If you change how you wear the watch, close and reopen Tennis Time.
Choose which gesture does what
- Go to Settings > Hands-free and make sure Wrist gestures is on.
- Under Gestures, tap My point, Their point or Undo.
- Tap a gesture. If another action uses it, it says so, and tapping it moves it here.

Set the sensitivity
Under Sensitivity, drag the slider between Firm (1) and Light (10). It starts at 3. Go lighter if your gestures are missed, firmer if points appear that you did not mean.

Note: Wrist gestures are part of Pro.
